A bit about the author, Stu Swineford
Stu started his career as a sales fella and copywriter hawking top-end bikes via catalog. One day, when the graphic designer stopped showing up for work (now THAT's "quiet quitting"), he stepped in to don the designer hat and start leading the production team. To be fair, he was the only other person in the building who knew how to turn on the Mac.
Since then, Stu has worked across nearly every role in the digital marketing production lifecycle. From strategy and concepting, to design, development, quality assurance, and everything in between, he's seen firsthand how ideas move from thought to execution.
Along the way, Stu realized that his greatest satisfaction comes from helping others achieve their goals. Solving problems, reducing frustration, and creating clarity is what makes the work meaningful and gets him out of bed every day (or most days, at least).

Bad Ideas... Well Executed
These days, Stu's focus is on purposeful, conversion-focused digital marketing strategy and execution. He cares deeply about work that is intentional, effective, and grounded in real results.
Outside of work, Stu gravitates toward doing slightly unreasonable things outdoors, often at altitude and with less oxygen than recommended. When he slows things down, he spends time near the cabin he's called home since 1993, surrounded by his wife and a lively collection of pets. That is where he reads, watch movies, and quietly refines his next (probably misguided) idea. He's also gotten back into playing hockey after a 30+ year absence and can be found between the pipes battling off slap shots as a goalie.

Thoughtful strategy. Practical execution.
Clear thinking, honest perspectives, and experience shaped by years of doing the work. No shortcuts, no borrowed opinions, just lessons learned by showing up, solving problems, and following ideas all the way through.
